WARRANTY

SL HAND TOOLS PROVIDE ONE YEARS WARRANTY WHICH TAKES EFFECT FROM THE CONSUMER'S DATE OF PURCHASE. HOWEVER, SL HAND TOOLS FULLY WARRANTS ITS HAMMERS AGAINST FAILURE IN NORMAL CIRCUMSTANTIAL USE, BUT DOES NOT WARRANT ITS TOOLS AGAINST MISUSE, ABUSE, GENERAL WEAR AND TEAR OR POOR STORAGE. SL HAND TOOLS WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
• Wear and tear
• Breakages resulting from misuse or abuse
• Worn down striking face
• Unauthorised testing such as impact, heat, destruction or extreme tolerance tests that result in damage or breakage.
• Damage resulting from independent repairs, alterations or tampering
• Filing of claws
• Engraving or welding
• Rusting or disintegrating grips resulting from leaving the tool in elements
• Improper storage resulting in surface damage or corrosion
• Changing or defacing the tool in any way
• Over-striking causing dents in the handles neck or guard
• Striking other hardened objects or surfaces such as other tools, hardened nails, drills or chisels, etc.
• Pulling or attempting to extract hardened nails, screws, or nail sets
• Breaking or bending the Hand Guard as a result of placing too much body weight or pressure on it.
• Breaking or bending the Hand Guard as a result of forcibly striking surfaces.
• Using side of the hammer for striking

SL hand tools cannot repair, re-grip or refurbish any used striking or struck tool. Proof of purchase must be provided to validate warranty.
